GOD OF THE NORTH WIND

HISTORY

Boreas or Boreas (in Greek: Βορέας), in Greek mythology, is the north wind, and, according to Hesiod, son of Astreus and Eos, and brother of Héspero, Euro, Zephiro and Noto. He lives in a cave on Mount Haemon, in Thrace. In the Attica legends, he kidnapped Orithia, daughter of Erecteus, with whom he had several children, among whom were the Boréadas, Zetes and Calais, Chione the goddess of snow, Aura twin sister of Chione and Cleopatra, wife of Fineu.

During the Medical Wars, Boreas helped the Athenians by destroying the ships of the barbarians. He also helped Megalópolis against Sparta, and was honored in Megalópolis with annual festivals. According to Homeric tradition, Bóreas was the father of twelve horses with the mares of Erictônio, which is explained as being a figurative way of saying that these horses were very fast. In the Ark of Celsus he was representing abducting Orithia, and in place of his legs were snakes. Boreas festivals were held in Athens and elsewhere.

SONS OF BOREA

Appearance: Boys tend to have robust bodies, while girls tend to be skinny and fragile in appearance. Everyone has pale, icy skin, reminiscent of snow, eyes as gray as a cloudy morning and black hair, long and always covered with snowflakes, regardless of the weather.

Personality: It has characteristics of its personality that resemble its powers. They are easily irritated and have a cold look constantly stamped on their faces. Something remarkable about them is their persistence. Even if they are unable to do something, they will always try again. They seem to be more sociable with children of wind gods or gods who represent the cold.

SKILLS

Passive Powers

Boreal Wings

From the back of Boreas's son, a pair of purple wings appears, reminiscent of the northern lights. At first, they will be average and of conflicting use, however, in time, they will become a huge and very powerful structure, with enough power to protect the demigod from projectiles. The wings can be remade or undone when the user wants.

Levels 1-6: The wing growth process is moderately fast and somewhat painful. The demigod has yet to settle for an average pair of them. He is already able to make more efficient detours and more agile locomotions, with the help of weak breaths of air. You will have released the active powers that need the wings when you are entitled to them.

Levels 7-13: You have access to a large pair of wings and do not need much time to open them. You can fly for a while without much difficulty (5 rounds).

Levels 14-20: Your character can fly freely, staying up to a long time in the sky (10 rounds). The wings become more resistant to physical attacks, making it difficult to shoot the demigod in flight. They can be used for the defense of the camper, protecting him from physical attacks, weapons and projectiles.

Polar Sprinter

Following the characteristics of their equine brothers, the colts of Erictônio, sons of Bóreas, are fast as an arrow, having their aptitude for running superior to that of the sons of Hermes.

Levels 1-6: Compared to the sons of Hermes, they are great runners, great for both chasing and voracious escapes.

Levels 7-13: Your character overtakes the children of Hermes with some grander effort, traversing terrain at a very high speed. When running, it is difficult to hit a son of Boreas.

Levels 14-20: At the height of their powers, the children of Boreas leave an icy trail wherever they go. They are impossible to follow and, due to a layer of wind that surrounds them during the race, they are completely immune to projectiles and divergent weapons.

Freezing Presence

A cold sensation runs through the body of Bóreas's son. Regardless of the season, temperature, weather or climate, the demigod will always be cold and covered with snowflakes. Your breath will be characterized by the exhaled vapor.

Levels 1-6: The demigod will live as if it were always an eternal winter, always cold, covered with snowflakes and exhaling steam through his mouth. If someone touches Boreas's son, he will feel a dark chill and may be bewildered.

Levels 7-15: If there is any touch between Boreas's son and another demigod, he will feel a tremendous chill over his body, starting to shiver immediately. The steam exhaled through the mouth of Bóreas' son is thicker and may even hide the cold for other campers.

Thermal Resistance

The icy aura that surrounds and encompasses the character's body decreases damage from attacks that are based on heat or cold. They take less damage from attacks that target fire or burns, and are almost immune to cold attacks.

Levels 1-6: Does not feel temperature changes and can stay for a long time in an extremely cold or hot place, without suffering damage / side effects

Levels 7-13: Withstands extreme temperatures, such as the interior of a volcano or the extremes of the planet, as long as those temperatures are not used offensively or abruptly

Levels 14-20: It has greater resistance to fire attacks, lowering its temperature to do the same with the damage. It can be placed inside an iceberg and even then, it will not feel different.

Levels 21-30: it is almost immune to ordinary fire, taking minimal damage from attacks involving heat or cold, even offensive.

Echinoglossia

His character inherited from his father divine authority to speak (normal and telepathically) to horses, mainly to treat them with deference and masterly respect.

Levels 1-4: Boreas's son is able to converse with ordinary horses, being unable to exercise any order for them.

Levels 5-8: You have reached a more advanced stage and are now able to impose orders on horses - even mythological ones. You can now connect telepathically to them.

Levels 9-13: The heir of the wind god is able to impose his wishes on equines in general, even centaurs.

Active Powers

Cold Healing

Cold places make the children of Boreas healthier and more at ease, being able to perform instant healing.

Levels 1-6: When you are in a cold environment, you feel more refreshed and more agile and faster. Can heal small injuries by covering them with ice.

Levels 7-13: Can heal all wounds by covering them with ice.

Winter's Breath

By striking his boreal wings with force, the demigod will be able to create a breath of cold wind capable of unbalancing the opponent and causing cuts to his body, in addition to impacting him with indeterminate proficiency. (Passive power "Boreal Wings" required for this to work)

Levels 1-6: The breath of air is weak, serving only to distract the opponent and take him back slightly. Like a normal winter wind, it can cause cuts to some of the opponent's limbs, but nothing serious.

Levels 7-13: The freezing wind will generate tiny needles of ice which, under the command of Boreas's son, will trigger small cuts. The power of the impact increases, and can take the opponent back a few meters, stunned.

Levels 14-20: The windstorm already has the power to throw the opponent abruptly backwards. The small blades created by the attack cause a supreme increase in damage, which can lead to rough and large cuts.

Cold Breath

From his breathing or the flapping of his wings (if you have the passive power "Boreal Wings"), Boreas' son can conjure a freezing gas, which paralyzes certain parts of the opponent's body.

Levels 1-6: The breath or breath of air is capable of creating a thin layer of ice in the area of the body to which it was directed. Initially, it will only cause a certain slowness in the movement of the affected region, making the opponent slow.

Levels 7-13: Your character manages to create a large layer of ice in a certain region of the opponent's body, such as leg, hand, arm, torso or foot. The ice melts after three rounds only.

Levels 14-20: Boreas' son is able to freeze certain larger areas of the body, such as both arms, both legs or the upper / lower torso completely. Freezing, more persistent (resisting up to five rounds), is not resistant to fire or light attacks, however.

Levels 21-30: You can already make someone an ice statue for ten rounds.

Storm Fury

From his emotions, over which he has great control, the demigod will be able to alter the local climate with gusts triggered by his own body, attracting the clouds that bring rains, storms and blizzards close to him.

Levels 1-6: After triggering an abrupt windstorm, a rain that will affect an area of 3x3 squares will appear, disturbing your opponent.

Levels 7-13: Hail and snow will hinder your opponent's movement and cause some damage to him. The affected area grows to 6x6 squares.

Levels 14-20: In a 9x9 square area, a storm will affect everyone present, injuring them and making their movements difficult, with imminent brutality.

Crass Armament

When using a weapon, you can coat it with a layer of ice, increasing certain attributes of it, such as the effectiveness of your blows, in addition to adding elemental damage to them.

Levels 1-3: The blade of the weapon is covered with resistant ice, and its attributes are increased: while the ice tries to cause numbness in the case of impacts, the cuts become more robust, and may cut off any small limb - fingers - with good concentration. Lasts for five shifts.

Levels 4-7: The entire weapon, from the hilt to the edge of the blade, is encompassed by the ice, which makes Bóreas's son comfortable - and increases his senses afterwards. Even the weakest blows, such as grazing cuts, will cause the most serious injuries, as well as impacts that can cause cramps with proficiency and ease. It lasts for eight shifts.

Levels 8-12: In addition to the typical coating, icy spines will also emerge on the weapon, increasing the efficiency of your hits to the maximum; their blows become practically unforgettable. The impacts can trigger a total cramp in the opponent's body, paralyzing him. Lasts for twelve shifts.

Glacial Cyclone

With this ability, the sons of Boreas are able to manipulate the polar masses from wherever they are, cooling them and using them to brutally attack the enemy. Typhoons are formed around it, stunning it, cutting it and impacting it.

Levels 1-4: Your character can cool the room and transfer the entire cold temperature to his body, getting even colder. It can give rise to icy typhoons, which appear below a maximum of two opponents, sucking some of their heat - making them cold - causing small cuts and impacting them upwards.

Levels 5-13: Your character is able to summon an average typhoon below a maximum of three opponents, who are targeted by several cuts around their body, in addition to being fully cooled, getting very cold, even fluttering. It can carry the entire cold temperature of the scene to your own body, cooling and refortifying itself.

Levels 14-20: In addition to being able to leave the air of a particular product fully purified, eliminating poisons, viruses and pollution, it can encompass the body of four opponents, at most, in an extremely strong icy typhoon. In addition to cooling the entire body of the opponents, it triggers several cuts, and serious. At the end of power, the demigod is impacted upwards, bewildered.

Complaint gifts

Boreas Arch

Masquerade bow made of celestial bronze. The bow has no rods or rope. The demigod makes a movement to pull the rope as in a common arc, so the rods, rope and arrow will be formed with wind, firing furious bursts from the mouth of the mask.
